How do I report seasonal employees who work multiple times a year?
If you have seasonal employees who work at multiple times during the year, such as a college student who works summers and over winter break, you should report them the same way you would document a rehire.
On your Employee Datasheet, include a separate line for each period of time they worked. The Hire Date should be their first day of employment during that specific time period, while the Term Date is their last day for that time period.
You do not need to include separate lines for the times they were not working.
