“There is a problem with the Country Code Data” error message. What does this mean? How can I fix it?
You received a Country Code Data error for one of the following reasons:

The Country Code field for an employee was left blank. The Country Code field is required. To correct this error, enter the employee’s country code into this field and resubmit your data. Note: The country code is required for all employees, even those residing in the United State. For US-based employees, enter “US” into the country code field.

The Country Code entered is invalid. Verify that you have entered an IRS-approved Country Code and resubmit your data. For a complete list of approved country codes, see Country Codes.
