“There is a problem with the Zip Code Data” error message. What does this mean? How can I fix it?
You received a Zip Code Data error for one of the following reasons:

The Zip Code field for an employee was left blank. The Zip Code field is required. To correct this error, enter the employee’s zip code into this field and resubmit your data.
For US-based employees, it may also be that:

The field contains letters. The Zip Code field supports numbers and dashes only. To correct this error, remove any letters and resubmit your data.

The field is not formatted correctly. US zip codes should be listed in either the approved 5-digit or 9-digit format:
- 5-digit codes should contain numbers only: 12345
- When using the 9-digit zip code, make sure to include the dash: 12345-6789.
To correct this error, make sure the zip code is in an approved format and resubmit your data.
