Once you have uploaded your FINAL employee and dependent data files (as Actual Batch files, not Inspection Batches), you’re ready to begin the 1095-C review and submittal process. To get started, go to the Prepare Tax Returns module:


 

Go to the Employee/Dependent Data Review tab, where you will find a list of all your Actual Batch files, along with detailed information about each batch.


If any batches still have failures, the batch (or partial batch) will be highlighted in red:



You will not be able to submit your 1095-C forms until all errors have been corrected or deleted.



Correcting Batch Errors

To correct any errors, return to your Data Upload page (in the Data Management module), and locate your Actual Batch file:




Correct the errors using the attached Data Integrity Error Report (click the yellow file folder), and re-upload your corrected data file (using the resume icon).

Once all errors are corrected and the status of your Actual batch file is changed to Data Upload Complete, you’re ready to go back to your Tax Preparation module.




Missing Actual Batches

If you have not yet uploaded an Actual Batch for your employees, you will see a “No Records Found” message on the Data Review Page:



Before you can proceed with processing your 1095-C forms, you will need to complete the data upload process for your Actual Batch. You cannot use an Inspection Batch to complete your 1095-C forms.


If you are required to submit dependent information and you have not completed the Actual Batch for your dependent data, you will see the Dependent Data warning message:



Do not proceed until your necessary dependent data is loaded.
